We will leave Verona and after a few minutes of driving through the countryside south of the city, we will reach Valeggio, an ancient village nestled between the Morainic Hills and the banks of the Mincio river .

 

We will visit the hamlet of Borghetto, an authentic little treasure on the banks of the Mincio river: mills, bridges and old houses make of this place on of Italy's most romantic spots.

After the walk we will visit a traditional artisan pasta factory, where the local ladies still prepare the traditional "love knots" tortellini by hand.

 

After having seen their work in the kitchen, we will sit under a pergola or in the warmth of the rustic interiors to enjoy a lunch based on two types of fresh tortellini, served with an appetizer, and followed by a dessert (water, wine and coffee included).
