Veronaround is an independent brand that since 2011 identifies a group of tourism professionals, whose purpose is to advise in planning visits and excursions in Verona and its province, personally guiding and accompanying the client during the tour.
-
We are professionals, guides, tour leaders and authorized sommeliers, who have regularly obtained the mandatory professional qualifications and who are in possession of badges issued by the public authority. We are against illegal guides and those who improvise in this activity for a few months a year.
-
We were not born from the web like other more recent companies; our training and our previous professional experiences are rooted in real tourism and in direct contact with the public.
-
"Small is beautiful": we believe that traveling should benefit local economies more than large chains. We choose itineraries that are off the beaten track, and we collaborate with small and medium-sized local businesses, artisanal and family run.
-
Slow tourism, no last minute: we appreciate customers who contact us in advance, because we plan private tours; we don't sell last-minute products (don't contact us today for tomorrow...) because we don't sell standrd products.
-
We are proud to have been the first: the first, in Verona, to offer itineraries with the formula hisotry + landscape + wine&food, operated by professionals and not by just hobbysts; the first to also offer less known routes, such as the pastures of Lessinia and the rice fields of the Veronese Plain, or the hike along the ancient city walls.
Over the time many were inspired by us, and perhaps this is a witness that Veronaround has that "little something" that can be imitated, but not equaled.
