The largest lake in Italy is only a few kilometers from the city and Valpolicella, and its enological link with Verona and with the land of Amarone is very close: the same grapes and blends, but very different soils and climatic conditions. Traditionally the Veronese Riviera is known for the red Bardolino, but in recent years the place of the star has passed to Chiaretto, as the rosé of the lake is locally called, and to its variations, including the irresistible sparkling one.

We will get to the Riviera degli Ulivi by crossing the morainic hills: first we will visit the ancient Lazise, surrounded by imposing crenellated walls and dominated by the Scaligero castle that stands out on its pictoresque harbor.

We will visit a small family-run winery, and we will allow ourselves a pleasant tasting of some of the most representative DOCs and IGTs of the area (including of course the rosé).
